Because she has directed and casted many shows, she will also teach you techniques that will help the actor become a better at auditioning and performing. SPARKYL ENTERTAINMENT, INC. ACTING WORKSHOP offers actors ongoing practice on his/her craft through scene study and monologue work. The workshop meets once a week for 4-6 weeks and focuses on character development and scene study. Actors will not leave the workshop without having improved their craft in significant ways. THE ADULT WORKSHOP will focus on character development. Students will work on writing detailed character backgrounds, finding character arcs, and making strong character choices. Registered students will receive an invitation to a Dropbox account where the documents for the class will be filed. Students will be required to choose a monologue and scene from a film or play script. Students should wear comfortable clothing and bring a notebook and pencil to class.
THE YOUTH WORKSHOP will teach the students skills in breathing, physical body awareness, and performance techniques. Most importantly, this class gives student confidence skills that will help them on and off the stage.
